Participating Countries in 2025
For the 2025 edition of the World Talent Cup, the following countries will participate: Team Sweden, Team Finland, Team Switzerland, Team Denmark, and Team Norway. We are constantly working to bring in more countries. There is space for two teams in each age group, both for boys and girls. Each team consists of 15 outfield players and 2 goalkeepers.Coaches
Each national team is assigned two coaches from the same country, who are responsible for the players and coaching during the tournament. The coaches also lead the teambuilding program, designed to help participants get to know each other and build team spirit. All coaches undergo Selected Players’ values, leadership, and coaching training before the World Talent Cup begins.Service Center
During the World Talent Cup, an information center is available at the IFU Arena where parents and accompanying persons can get answers to any questions. The center is staffed by Selected Player personnel and, at specific times, a country manager for each nation will also be available to assist.Medical Care
For participants’ safety, our medical staff will be on-site to handle minor injuries and provide basic first aid. For serious injuries, we have contacts with Uppsala Hospital and nearby clinics.
Friendships and Future Opportunities
The goal of the World Talent Cup is to help talents take the next step in their development and lay the best foundation for those aiming to go far. We also aim to create lasting friendships between floorball nations, which participants will find invaluable later in life.
The national teams from Sweden, Team Sweden, are created by handpicking talents who have performed the best at our Gamechanger Camp in the 13–16 age groups. National teams from other parts of the world are formed through nominations by talent scouts, parental registrations that we follow up with the player’s coach, and recommendations from leaders via our website.
The skill level for a player wishing to participate in the WTC is:
- The player must currently be able to handle high-paced play and belong to the top tier of players in their floorball region/district.
- The player must have the willingness to train extensively and focus on both training and match play.
- The player should have ambitions to reach as far as possible in floorball.
All matches and training sessions take place in Europe’s finest floorball arena – the IFU Arena in Uppsala, featuring five full-sized courts under one roof. Lunch, dinner, and evening snacks are served in the arena’s kitchen.
In the World Talent Cup, players develop with Keytraining, our unique training method that has been hugely successful in effectively developing key individual skills and laying the foundation for players aiming for elite levels in the future. Keytraining has helped a large number of today’s elite and national team players achieve their success, serving as proof that the method helps players build what is required to reach the elite level in their careers.
Through the cup matches, participants have a unique chance to be part of a national team and take their gameplay to the next level through challenging matches against top talents from other countries. The cup builds international competition experience and provides the opportunity to test their skills at the highest international level. The cup matches are professionally organized with Swedish federation referees and can be followed live on our website.

Goalkeeper Development
In the World Talent Cup, goalkeepers advance their match play to the next level through intense international cup matches and Keytraining. This specialized training builds the crucial individual skills required by a skilled goalkeeper and strengthens the foundation needed to reach elite levels in the future.Goalkeepers receive separate training with shooters as well as joint training with their team. As part of the methodology, goalkeeper instructors use video analysis to highlight key details and as a tool to help goalkeepers progress to the next level. All other training, including teambuilding, physical training, and meals, is conducted together with the team.
Physical Training
Given the intensity of the World Talent Cup, with many training sessions and cup matches, the physical training focuses on quality. We ensure that participants perform critical physical, speed, and mobility exercises necessary for floorball players to develop and reach their full potential.

I have attended Selected Player several times and really enjoy the training provided. Above all, it improves your technique, which you will benefit from for many years to come. I truly recommend young players to participate in Selected Player’s programs!
-
“If you are passionate about the sport of floorball and get the chance to attend the camp, you should take it, as it is incredibly beneficial for the development of all participants.”
-
Selected Player not only provides participants with the best possible conditions to maximize their development but also offers motivation, inspiration, and fosters connections between young and senior floorball players.

I think Keytraining is a great specific training that takes your technique to the next level. You get to practice different scenarios that you will encounter during a match. Selected Player is a fun camp where you meet lots of new friends, but above all, you get to play a lot of floorball!
