Our Local Camps set up the basis for going far
Did you know that three of four players in the Swedish U19 national team are Selected Players? In other words, they have gone through our world-class trainings for floorball players. The first level is our local camps, Local Talent Camp, where players between the ages of 8 and 14 spend four days sharpening important basic techniques. What they learn will help them immensely in games with their club teams — and who knows, maybe in the national team someday?
Unique training model
At our local camps, we use the successful training model KeyTraining Floorball in order to develop the player’s basic technique in a rapid and simple manner. Our trained instructors drill the participants on specially designed technique tracks, which are adapted to the participant’s age and play level so that each and every player gets the best possible effect from the training. KeyTraining Floorball was developed by the three-time world champion Jonathan Kronstrand.
The importance of internal training
We believe that a strong “inside” is at least as important as the ability to play. For this reason, all participants in our local camps perform age-adapted exercises that strengthen their self-esteem and self-confidence. We also talk about what it means to be a good friend and think about why it is important to have dreams and goals, all based on our basic values model Dream Train.
What happens next?
Players between 11 and 16 years of age have the opportunity to be invited to the next level in the Selected Players training, our national camps Region Talent Camp. From these camps, players can then be chosen for our highest, international-level World Talent Cup
