– Individual technique training and cup against Team Sweden
The World Talent Cup (WTC) is organized by the Swedish educational organization, Selected Player. WTC is a floorball camp of the absolute highest class, where during five intensive days the participants receive both rapidly developing in individual technique and cup games against, among others, Team Sweden, consisting of Sweden´s best floorball talents.
-Europe´s finest floorball arena
WTC is arranged week 30 (July 25–29) in Europe´s finest floorball arena, IFU Arena. All training sessions, friendly games, games in World Talent Cup and other activities are scheduled in this wonderful floorball arena, which has as many as five full-sized courts under one roof.
In the IFU Arena´s large restaurant the participants are served a good and healthy lunch, dinner and evening meal. All participants and leaders stay at the four-star hotel, Arenahotellet and Scandic Nord. Both hotels are within walking distance of the Arena.
Selected Player is looking for players who are passionate about floorball and have the will to develop their individual technique, and to take on the challenge of playing against Sweden´s most talented floorball players, in the World Talent Cup.

A WTC team is a maximum of 17 players (15 outfield players and 2 goalkeepers). Players we are looking for are boys and girls born 2006–2010.
Our goal with WTC is to help players become as individually technically proficient as possible during the formative years 13–16 years. With the games in the World Talent Cup, we want to give the participants a challenging and developing competition experience in the absolute top class. However, WTC is not just about training and competing. During the camp we want to build bridges and create friendship between the floorball countries, something that the participants will be able to use invaluable later in life.
In Sweden the Selected Player organization handpicks Sweden´s most talented floorball players and field two Team Sweden teams per age in the World Talent Cup.
Boys Team Sweden
13 y.o – 2 teams, 14 y.o – 2 teams, 15 y.o – 2 teams, 16 y.o – 2 teams.
Girls Team Sweden
13 y.o – 2 teams, 14 y.o – 2 teams, 15 y.o – 2 teams, 16 y.o – 2 teams.
During the initial training days, the participants develop individually with Selected Players specially designed training program. The program methodically and efficiently builds up all the individual technique a skilled outfielder and goalkeeper needs and provide the best foundation to reach their full potential.
Game situations
The training programs including different kind of match play that builds up the participants habit and skill in using the technique in real game situations.
After the training days, the World Talent Cup starts. The cup gives the participants more advanced and challenging opportunity to build up their competitive s kills at an international level. Here the participants get to practice using their techniques in matches against the absolute best opposition, such as Team Sweden. The World Talent Cup is professionally arranged with Swedish confederation referees. The World Talent Cup can be followed live on our website.
Each WTC team will have two leaders who follow and are responsible for the team throughout the camp, both on and off the field. These two leaders will also be responsible for coaching during the cup. The leaders will either be from Sweden and then all communication will be in English, alternatively leaders will be recruited from your country.
Information about this will come out in good time before the start of the camp.
During the camp there will be an information center in the IFU Arena, where you are welcome to get answers to any questions and concerns. There will also be a responsible country manager for each country to answer questions from parents and other fellow travelers.
For the safety of the participants, we have our own healthcare staff on site who take care of minor injuries and re-plastering. We are in close contact with Uppsala Hospital and nearby care centers should more serious injuries occur.
During the WTC, the players live with their team in triple or quadruple rooms at the four-star hotel, Arenahotellet or at Scandic Nord, within walking distance to the IFU Arena. Full hotel breakfast is served at the hotel.
Lunch, dinner and evening meals are served in the Arena kitchen at the IFU Arena. If players have any kind of allergy, this will be filled in when you book your seat.
IFU Arena has five full-size floorball courts under the same roof. Four of which have a grandstand capacity of 500 seats per court. The main arena holds a whopping 2500 spectators.
Selected Player does not organize any trips to and from Sweden. If your child arrives by plane to Arlanda or by train or bus to Uppsala C, Selected Player will have staff on site to receive your child. More information will come separately. Uppsala is only 20-minute journey from Arlanda Airport and a 40-minute train journey from Stockholm.

Tuesday 25 July – Travel, check-in, team building, 1 training

Saturday 29 July – 1-2 playoffs/placement matches, WTC conclusion, journey home
